Wesleyan's Varsity Men's and Women's squash teams boast some of the finest collegiate players in the country and are consistently ranked among the top 10 Division III schools and in the top 20 universities and colleges in the nation. Boasting 8 glass backed, air conditioned courts situated in the center of campus alongside Wesleyan's pool, indoor and outdoor track and fitness center, it is the perfect environment for players looking to achieve their full squash potential. Wesleyan University has a long history of competing in squash dating back to the 1940's. Wesleyan has separate men's and women's varsity teams that compete against NESCAC rival schools and Ivy league competition. Wesleyan's program truly has some of the finest collegiate players in the country with Guy Davidson playing number 1 for the men and ranking in the top 3 NESCAC players and Laila Samy playing number 1 for the women ranking in the top 10 players nationally and is a first team all-American. Supported by world class coaching and fully qualified strength and conditioning coaches it is an environment that most professional athletes would appreciate. The teams play a full schedule of about 25 matches in a season and are fortunate enough to be able to play roughly half of those at Wesleyan. We have hosted the men's collegiate national championships as well as the US Junior Open and the US High School championships at the Rosenbaum Squash Center. Wesleyan squash alums have gone on to many varied and successful careers after graduating and remain part of the Wesleyan squash network that supports the present day players.
