John A. Driscoll Retirement Celebration

John A. Driscoll ’62 retired from Wesleyan in June 2015. John was a member of Chi Psi, quarterback for the Cardinal football team, and a member of the first class to graduate from the College of Social Studies. Following twenty years in other pursuits (Society of Jesus [Jesuit], MA at Fordham, positions at the U.S. Office of Education and the Civil Aeronautics Board, and fundraising at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY), he returned home to Wes in 1982. John’s work as Alumni Director covered a wide scope. A completely engaging talker and storyteller, he emceed or spoke at dozens of events each year. He also wrote widely and well, with a distinctive voice. He has been a friend to us all.
