EarthSounds, Autoschediasms, and Tonebursts at Wesleyan

Chair of the Music Department and Associate Professor of Music Paula Matthusen, John Spencer Camp Professor of Music Neely Bruce, and graduate music student Judith Berkson discuss a performance by Wesleyan's Real-Time Autoschediasms for Electroacoustic Creative Orchestra, directed by Assistant Professor of Music Tyshawn Sorey, and the Toneburst Laptop and Electronic Arts Ensemble, involving EarthSounds - the ceramic percussion instruments constructed by Ragnar Naess for Tan Dun, which are now owned by Wesleyan University.
