Aaron, an Orthodox butcher, married with four kids, hires a younger Yeshiva student, Ezri, as an apprentice. Their relationship threatens his marriage and his standing in the community and Aaron has to choose between his loyalty to his family and his growing love for Ezri. The film was an official selection at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, where it was screened as part of "Un Certain Regard" program.
