R&C 2016: Patti Smith, Wesleyan's 2016 Honorary Doctorate Recipient

Patti Smith received an honorary degree (doctor of fine arts) from Wesleyan University on Sunday May 22, 2016. Patti Smith is a writer, performer, and visual artist whose recordings include her seminal album, Horses (1975), and whose books include Just Kids, winner of the 2010 National Book Award.
